Founded
in 1982, the SNDT represents the authors of original works
intended for industrial serial reproduction. Its members
are either self-employed or salaried professionals.
Its
members specialise in the design of:
textile surfaces (patterns/printing on textiles
and other techniques)
textile materials (samples/knitwear, warp and weft,
Jacquard)
bulk textiles (prototypes/accessories and others)
In
different sectors:
garments (ready-to-wear, fashion, Haute Couture,
sportswear, lingerie)
the environment (household linen, carpets, furnishing
fabrics, stationery)
the press (the feminine press, decoration, creative
leisure).
Individuals
or groups are admitted into the SNDT once their applications
have been reviewed by the SNDT's Board of Directors and
approval of their reasons for joining and professional
qualifications.
